My olest son is 4, turning 5 in Feb. He is very tall for his age and extreemly active with ADHD. I have tried to find clubs or activities that he can participate in this coming fall/winter to keep him busy since we will not be able to go to the park as much with the weather turning cold, but sadly everything I find says he has to be 5yrs or older. We are in Amsterdam NY and I'm hoping some of you know where or what I can do with my little man. Last year was hard enough, I don't know what I'm going to do this year.
P.S. Karate, boxing, wresseling, football, baseball, soccer, etc are all things he is interested in so everything that physical would be great! I'm evening wishing there was a tree climbing club!!!
Hi, my daughter started karate at four years old and loves it. She is not ADHD but she is very active. Zen Do Kai in Johnstown has a little dragons class for ages three to five. I'm sure there is one in Amsterdam. These classes are great for my daughter, they are once a week for 45 minutes. You can call around, most let you take a couple of classes for free to see if it will work out. Good Luck..
Hi- I know the feeling. The YMCA has soccer for 4 year olds and karate classes start at 3 years. There is also tumbling classes at the Y and swimming. Hope this helps.
Jungle Mania WAS a spectacular place, but it closed on June 29th. The failing economy and an increase in lease shut the doors - there is a possibility she will reopen in Broadalbin at some time in the future! I miss it dearly for my DS4 and DDs2.
