Have you looked at Claire's or Icing? They do a great job of making tiaras for under $20. Congrats on your wedding!
I bought mine at David's Bridal (almost 6 years ago) for around 100.00. I also proudly report I only paid 199.00 for my dress there - my husband brags about it all the time and it cracks me up. You seriously would never know the difference - I'm all for spending where it's logical, but my dress is still gorgeous and I'm soooooooooo glad I didn't spend a ton of cash on it. We blew our money on a super nice honeymoon :-)
I went to a place called Sarahs Bridal on Belmont in Chicago (pretty far west). They were VERY reasonably priced for everything!!
Try Hobby Lobby. They have all kinds of things for weddings. I have seen tiaras there and they are really inexpensive. Congratulations on your upcoming wedding!
I bought a beautiful beaded comb off ebay for my wedding. Think it cost me about $40. You can probably find something nice there.
Congratulations!! I got married a few years ago, and I got a beautiful, one of a kind looking tiara at a bridal shop at woodfield mall. It's called "Total Wedding". It is on the lower level located right across from the Rain Forest by Sears. They really have some beautiful tiara's and accessories for the bride. By the way, my tiara was under $100.00. Good luck!!
First you can try Joanne's or Michael's craft stores. they both sell supplies for Weddings. If there is a Hanover Fabrics near you, they might have some. Since you are in Maywood, check out the smaller bridal chops around there, even in Melrose Park or such. they usually have them and they are cheaper than places like David's Bridal. They might even be able to work with you on the price.
Hi L..
I rented mine from a bridal boutique in Hickory Hills/Palos Hills area. I can't think of the name, but it was on 11th Street, one block East of Harlem Ave. I know that I ddin't pay anywhere near $100 to rent, and it was beautiful. They had alot fo other bridal/weding things there too. Good luck.
