I am a professional photographer and have been for many years. Now, I am venturing out on my own and have started my own business. Other than my husband and kids, this is and has been the most exciting journey of my life! I absolutely adore what I do. I am not posting this to solicit my services, but I have noticed that there are quite a few local talented photographers here on mamasource, and I must say, WOW! Many of you ladies are first class. So, here is my question. I am in DFW and I need to know about the best local digital photography print labs/companies. My husband works with a couple for advertising but I am looking more for portraits. I need to know about quality of print, pricing and what services they offer to the professional photographer. I have established clients and whoever I go with will have plenty of business headed their way, and I know you ladies will be able to steer me in the right direction. Thanks for the insight! I feel like I can breathe easier knowing that I have a few options that are local. And soon I can really focus on the fun stuff again-my portraits!

First CONGRATULATIONS on your new adventure! I too am a professional photographer...my husband and I shoot togethor.
We stay busy with sport photography events and work in family and children portraits as requested. I plan to venture out further with the portraits as time permits. They do wonderful work and I have always been very pleased.
A lab in the Dallas area that also does good work, not so customer friendly is "BWC" Best wishes!!

I use Miller's Lab. They are in Missouri. I upload my images and they send them to me via Fed Ex. I used to use Full Color. I also have friends that use Pounds and BWC.

You could talk to the guys at Fort Worth Camera Supply ###-###-####. I think they have a lab now, but if not, they know their stuff for referrals. We rent lights from them from time to time.
I know a lot of other photographers use The Color Place, but I don't know their number.
