Need a Recommendation!

I've used Dr. Kelly Drake on Louis Henna in Round Rock, and also Hometown Animal Hospital in Pflugerville. I really like them both, but Hometown Animal Hospital is slightly less expensive. My toy fox terrier just had some dental work done there last week, and they were wonderful. The vet, Dr. Weaver, came out and talked with me when I went to pick her up, and he personally called the next day to see how she was doing. I think Dr. Drake's office did the same thing last year when she had her teeth cleaned there, but if I had to choose one, I would choose Hometown.

We are very pleased with our vet, Dr. Daigle at Premier Animal Hospital in Cedar Park (on 1431). We "shopped around" when we moved here. Dr. Daigle is the most personable vet I have had (we have two pugs, age 8 and one age 3). They also have a groomer onsite. She is great.

I don't necessarily know who the best is, but we had a very sick kitty who ended up having surgery. We took him to Hometown Animal Care located on 685 in Pflugerville. I was very impressed by their professionalism and honesty, and pleased with the care that they gave him. They were willing to take the time to educate me about his illness etc. I'm sure there are other great vets around, but I would highly recommend this clinic. Their number is: ###-###-####.

My family uses Dr James Wood at the Balcones Animal Hospital 6909 McNeil Dr Austin, TX 78729. ###-###-####. It is in North Austin not too far from Pflugerville. We have dogs, cats and several others. He is super friendly and has a degree from A&M.

Dr. Riggan at White Rock Vet in Pflugerville. The staff is wonderful and Dr. Riggan is great with the animals.

We started going to him 9 1/2 years ago with our first "child". 2 1/2 years ago, we had to make the VERY DIFFICULT decision to have her put down 2 days after her 15th birthday. He was SO WONDERFUL that when he saw how upset we were, that he offered to pray with and for us. His post-care was more than I can say. It's still an emotional memory for me.

Anyway, in early March, we added another four-legged child to our family. There was NO QUESTION where we were taking her! My sister was so taken with how Dr. Naylor treated us in 2005 at our loss that she's now his client since she adopted my new baby's littermate! :-)

Texas animal Hospital in Pflugerville. All the vets are great staff is friendly. Discounts on MWF for surgeries and shots. I had to put down my 12 year old Boxer and the entire staff was crying because I was crying so bad. They waited until he fell asleep on me with his favorite blanket and when I was ready they put him to sleep. They called me the next day and they sent a card. They are so caring.

I have to second what Kerri C. said----- Dr. James Woods at Balcones is fabulous. I like how they bring their pets to work with them, too!

We were recently given a "found puppy" on a Friday afternoon. With a previously planned trip for a conference, we had no choice but to find a vet clinic. I took the puppy to them and boarded him for a week - I will use them again. They are very loving with each animal.

I don't know if they're THE BEST, but all my family has been using Round Rock Animal Hospital for probably 25 years now. I've referred friends to them too and they've been very happy with the vets there. They are very nice and they really care about us and our animals. When we had to put my 16-year-old dog down last year, they made a donation in her memory to an animal charity. I'm sure they do that for everyone, not just us.

We currently see Dr. Hocher, but Dr. Sundbeck is great too.
