My daughter went to Calvary PreSchool it is really great! (at Calvary United Methodist Church, off of Austin Bluffs near Academy) they also have a mother's day out program at the same church, which we also liked a lot. A lot of my friends used the preschool at Holy Apostles Catolic Church, I have heard a lot of good things about that preschool as well! Good luck!

We love Springs Community Church preschool. It's on Woodman and Lexington, so close to you. My older son went there and my younger son is about to start in Sept. There is always a waiting list, but worth it. The price is very reasonable and the staff is fabulous...some have been there 20 years, which says a lot. If you are not religious, I'd still consider it. They do a prayer in the morning, but then focus on school.

I used to work up in that area, off Woodman & Academy at Deluxe Checks, & on my way there was a Montessori school-I heard good things about it from the girls I worked with. I don't remember the street name though. Also, if you can get in at USAA, they've got a daycare there on-site

It would be a bit of a drive, but First Presbyterian on Nevada has a good program.

I would check out your neighborhood public schools to see if they have a preschool program.

I live across town from you, and love our nearby preschool - Buena Vista elementary is a public Montessori school and it's fantastic for my 2 boys.

I'm sorry that you are going through this right now - I wish you strength and peace through your transition.

I Loved the primrose school. IT's on Dublin, convevient, the people are SO great. They teach so much, it's definately not just babysitting. THe only prob is that it's a little pricey i thought. I would never worry about leaving my daughter there though. It is a chain, and they have a web site. I would reccomend it to anyone.
