Hi, I have been cleaning out my house, and have a lot of used books (some new)to sell. Does anyone know where I could sell them for cash? I also have a lot of fabric and scrapbooking supplies to sell as well. Thanks!
If you are in Albuquerque you can sell them @ Book Stop in Nob Hill on Central behind starbuck's (on Tulane I think) between Central & Silver. If they can't take them all they will point you to a place where you can sell the others. Also, Bird song in the Southwest Alley of Central & University.
Cash4books.net worked out well for us. You type in the ISBN of each book and they tell you if they will buy it and for how much. They pay for FedEx shipping and pay via PayPal. My husband and I have sold nearly $800 worth of used books to this company and it was so much easier than schlepping them around town like we used to!
The fabric and scrap booking supplies could be sold on our local Craigslist. Posting an ad there is free.

Page One books on Eubank (between Indian School and Lomas) takes a variety of used books. I'd give them a try.
Hi K.. There was a place in Dallas called "Half Price Books" where you could take any used books and sell them to the store for a set price. I'm not sure if there is anything like that around here. Good luck!

Here is a website you could try. I researched them before when I had some used books, but they weren't taking any of the titles I had. You enter your book titles and they tell you if they want them and what they would pay. Then you send the books and they send you a check.
