Hi I am 7 months pregnant with my first child and new to the area. Most of the reviews I have seen for Pedi doctors are in the Stone Oak Area and my hospital is there as well. But I live in central San Antonio near Olmos Park and Alamo Heights. Can anyone recommend a great caring pediatrician in this area? Id prefer a female but am open to any caring, competent doctor where I can feel comfortable asking questions.
Graham Hall is a great Dr. I think there is a female in the same practice with him. (It's a husband/wife team & then Dr. Hall. I can't remember their last name though. Their office is located close to little gym off Broadway near sunset.
Try Drs. Fitch, Graham or Hall, they are over in the Collection off Broadway and Sunset, great group! Also, Alamo Heights Pediatric Group, I have friends that go there. Currently they are on Broadway near Bike World but understand they are moving into the old Ambiance space next to Bloom Maternity (Village on the Green - Basse).
I live in the on the other side of San Pedro and there are a couple of great drs in the same office. Pediatrics and Adolecents off of San Pedro, it is about 2 blks away from Hildebrand. Dr. Rettigg (he is doing a rotation there I don't know if he is taking new patients, but Dr. Maxwell, Dr. Rizzo are a few I have seen there. I have been able to get a same day apt if my baby is sick. My son is 18 mts now. ###-###-####. I know you don't need 1 yest but there is also a very good dentist on Hildebrand/McCoullough. Dr. Gutierrez ###-###-#### he is very entertaining for the kids.
My kids see Dr. Brooks Hagee at Northeast Pediatrics (right next to NE Baptist Hospital right off 410). She's so nice and takes time to answer all my questions. I can't speak more highly of her and all the physicians there! Good luck.
We see Dr. Beauchamp and he is located in the shopping center at the corner of Broadway and Sunset. He is great with both kids and always explains things very well. I have never had a problem getting an appointment that same day if I need it.

Dr Jardan of the San Antonio Pediatrics, they are located off Walzum road. There are many good doctors with in the practice...although a little drive. We are currently seeing Dr Beauchamp he is located right off broadway just past were Sunset intersects. If you would like eithers phone numbers just email or something good luck. V.

We go to North East Pediatrics off of 410 and Starcrest (I think!) right near NE Baptist Hospital. We see Dr. Groos, but I have friends who see Dr. Rhames and we all love our doctors. I don't live anywhere near Alamo Heights, but I love the doctor and it is worth the drive for me. My friends who live in Alamo/Terrell Heights all go to this office because it is pretty close, the doctors are great and it's right next to the hospital.
