Need a New Part Time Nanny

My nanny of over 4 years just found a full time job and can no longer work for us. She was part of our family and treated the kids like her own. I am happy for her but am not looking forward to trying to find someone new. I only need some one day a week (Thursdays) to watch my kids. Does anyone recommend any web sites or agencies that service the western suburbs(Batavia)? I feel I really lucked out the first time I found my nanny and am very nervous about finding someone new.

Thanks,
K.

Hi K.,
I would try Sittercity.com. You have to sign up for a year membership, but you can also go on the site and look around first. I wasn't sure I wanted to spend the $$$ and sign up, but i did and it was soooo worth it. I found two really great sitters. They have background check info, and reviews (good and bad) from other parents. I think there was also a coupon from mamasource for 10% off.
Good luck :)

I am also looking for help (M,W,F) so know the feeling nervous thing. I've called a few ads in the paper and they just didn't feel right. I'd be happy to talk to you about possibly helping you out. If I watched your kids, I'd have to bring my 18 month old daughter with. Let me know if you'd like to communicate more.

I would email Antenette Kloska, she is an in home day care provider in Batavia, she has over 20 years experience in child care and is a licenced provider. I trust her, she provides a loving home environment and is willing to take part time children. Her email is: ____@____.com Give her a try!
