Hi Momma's,

I need some advice. I have been going to the same stylist for a very long time. I love her to death, but I am just not happy with how my hair looks and the "same" way she cuts it and the color. I have fine, thin hair (since I had my hysterectomy is seems) and I want to try someone new and who is good with my hair type. Does anyone have a good stylist they can recommend for my hair? I live in the Southeast Arlington area, but would travel anywhere in Arlington for someone who is good. I would surely appreciate any idea's you can share. Thanks so much-Have a wonderful day!!! :)

Salon Esprit near I-30 in Arlington is great! My stylist, Laurence owns the salon with his wife. He has been my stylist for over 10 years and I have always had compliments on my hair. I have even been stopped when out and about a few times and been asked about my stylist! I have recommended him to tons of ppl who, in turn, have done the same! The salon also offers manicures/pedicures, waxing and facials. You can get everything done in one trip! HTH!

I highly recommend my mother-in-law! Her name is Carrie Goodwin and she works out of Lerviks Hair Studio on Mayfield Rd between Matlock and Cooper. The number is ###-###-#### and ask for Carrie!

Try Sheltons on 121 in Bedford, really close to Arlington. All their stylist are very talented. I take whoever is available for a walk in and have never been disappointed. I would not go to anyone else for a hair cut.

You might try confiding in your current stylist that you want to try something *new* and *fun* for the summer. She is probably tired of doing the same old same old on you and is dying to try something new on you. Believe it or not, damaging our hair is what actually gives it body, too much damaging of course makes your hair look dry and frizzy. Maybe a body wave to give it some texture and damage? Or how about some chunky highlights that will also give you some texture and damage. But if you still want to try someone new, my stylist is Marty (since 1987) and he is located at the Legacy Salons on Cooper and I-20.
Much happiness!
