Hi everyone,
My family and I will be moving to Fall Creek in Humble in 2 weeks and I would like any suggestions on pediatricians in the area. Mainly, who you would avoid and why or who you would recommend from firsthand experience? Thanks so much for your input!
I live in Fall Creek. We use Dr. Hassel at Pediatric Associates of Kingwood. She is great. Welcome to the neighborhood!
As Sandie has already mentioned, Texas Children's is the way to go. My children see the doctors in the office in Kingwood/Atascocita, off of Timber Forest, and they are wonderful as well. Several other moms I know take their children there.
Hi S........ Dr. Penn is an EXCELLENT choice for a physician. He is with the Texas Children's Pediatrics Associates..... Dr. Penn is NOT my children's primary, Dr. Leach is.... they are in the same office. But, I will tell you that my daughter had an abscessed lymph node in her neck when she was 2 1/2. We had gone to the dr. the week before and they had put her on antibiotics. The following Tuesday, she just seemed to not be getting any better, and it was the week of Thanksgiving so I was afraid to leave town with her for the holiday, so I took her back and ended up seeing Dr. Penn. I was so impressed that I would recommend anyone to Dr. Penn. He and two of his nurses immediately began calling pedi surgeons to find someone to see her..... HE HIMSELF was making the calls too....all while we sat in the waiting room. Within an hour or so, we were sitting in the surgeons office, and scheduled surgery for the next morning. Dr. Penn was very instrumental in seeing that my daughter was taken care of.
My children have been patients of TCPA/Dr. Leach (and the whole staff really) since my daughter's birth.....13 1/2 years ago.
Also, they have a location in Kingwood which takes sick patients on Sat, Sun and Holiday mornings if you ever need it. However, they also have an office in Eagle Springs which you may find more convenient to your location....it's at Timber Forest (I am pretty sure) and Atascocita Road. Either way, you are sure to get excellent care at either location.

I have used Dr. Penn w/Texas Childrens for years. He provides excellent care. He is in an office with about 8 other different doctors. If he is unable to see your child, they will always find someone who can. I have never been disappointed with any of these doctors. They are all good. The number is: ###-###-####.
