Hi my husband told me today that he has 2 broken teeth and I know that the pain has been keeping him up at night. (not so good when we have a 3 week old and a 3 year old and I need his help) We do not have any insurance for him so my question is do you know a dentist that has a flexable payment plan and good rates. I know he hates the dentist he said he is going to have to be out of it to have any work done it freaks him out so bad. Thanks for your help I don't like to see my hubby in pain and want to get this fixed but it's hard without insurance.

What can I do next?

If you don't mind coming in to Portland, check with Laurelwood Dental for a payment plan. These doctors are the gentlest and most thorough I have ever had, and the office staff is spectacular. They are at 2824 N E Wasco, just off Broadway and next to the parking lot for the Hollywood Fred Meyer. Phone number is ###-###-####.

Some time ago, I was without dental insurance, and I had a filling fall out. My friend told me about Care Credit. It is a credit card for dentists, vets, and doctors. You can apply online, and they have many dentists who accept the card for payment. It also came in very handy when our cat got sick - most vets take the card too. They are online at

Well, it takes forever, but you can go to the OHSU dental school. They do nitrous oxide.
