Naperville/Oswego/Aurora/Montgomery Area Pediatrician

I'm looking for recommendations for a pediatrician with the following criteria: encourages breastfeeding, has a natural approach to health, is reluctant to prescribe antibiotics, knows a lot about nutrition and food allergies. I know I am probably going to have better luck in the realm of alternative medicine, but because of insurance limitations, I need to find an M.D.

What can I do next?

I highly recommend Dr Micheal Boettcher with Dupage General Pediatrics. They are on Ogden in Naperville. I have 3 boys under the age of 5, and he is fantastic!

Hi K.,
I don't know if they are taking new clients, but Children's Health Partners, www.childrenshealthpartners.com, are fantastic.
My daughter is 5 1/2 and has only been prescribed antibiotics once.
Best of luck!

Hi there, I have a 15 month old daughter and I go to Doctor Chad Olsen of Millennium Pediatrics in Naperville. He is a father himself and is very supportive of breastfeeding and knowledgeable about food allergies. He never prescribed anything unnecessary and I really liked every body I have dealt with at the practice. The have a separate waiting area for sick and well visits and i have never had to wait more than 10 min which is important to me. Hope this helps.

We use Dr. Usha Chavda. She is great and very supportive of breastfeeding. If she has to prescribe antibiotics, she always explains why.

Dr Kristine Liberty and Dr Steven Kovar are great! My kids love them and they are very good. They encourage breastfeeding and only give antibiotics when needed. I highly recommend them. Check out the webiste www.kidsfirstdocs.com. Good luck!
