Nannies - Prosper,TX

I have been very pleased with The Nanny Agency in Plano; google the name for the web site. However, I have quit using agencies myself as the cost just does not seem to justify the benefit - this is my personal feeling. So, you may want to consider some of the free sources there are out there, to be used with care, like craigslist, nannydallas.com, and of course mamasource.com. I always check references and I observe personally a number of times before I leave the nanny alone with my children. I have been lucky in finding nannies on craigslist that have good experience and references that I have been able to verify. I have also found a lot of people that are not dependable and don't work out, etc., but that same thing happened with people I got through a service and paid $2,000 plus to get. fwiw.

We used enannysource.com to find our nanny, who is great. It's affordable and a great way to meet potential nannies. It works a little like match.com, but for nannies. You put up what you need and nannies peruse the families to look for a match. As a family, you can also look through the nanny profiles. You have to become a member to email the nannies, though. If you get the top membership (which is under $200) it also includes one free background check and the ability to freeze your account if you find a good nanny but later on need to find another one.
