We are also in need of a nanny possibly Tues - Weds. What is the salary your nanny is looking for for 2-3 days a week? The duties would probably include some light cleaning.

T., We live in Portage Park (Cicero and Irving Park area) and might be needing a part time nanny starting in July. Our son was just born April 19 and we are trying to sort out child care for when I return to work. My husband is self employed and therefore we will be needing child care on a part time basis. I would love to find out more about your nanny. We may need someone (esp. starting in the fall) to help us out with after school hours. We have a 9 year old and a 4 year old who will be going to school in River Forest. Does she drive? We would love to find someone who could pick them up from school. But we will only go with someone who is highly recommended as being a safe driver and very good with children.

My part-time nanny just finishd school and is getting a full-time job so we will need a new part-time nanny starting in late August/early September. I don't know if our situation matches your nanny's needs, but thought I would check: we live in Lombard, and we don't need a nanny during the summer because my husband is a teacher and is home. We have a wonderful 10-month old daughter who is a very happy, delightful child. Our ideal schedule would be 3 days a week, 8:30-2:30, but I can be somewhat flexible with that as I have my own business and work from home. Let me know if you think your nanny may be interested.
