NAET Trained Person for Allergies

My 11 year old has rather bad allergies ranging from foods (corn, eggs, peanuts, etc.) to danders to pollens and is very ADHD. Sometimes I think the two are very connected. We did allergy shots for a couple of years and they helped somewhat, but moved and with a new insurance have not tried them again. I have a friend that has suggested a NAET (Nambudripad's Allergy Elimination Techniques) specialist to work with him. She uses one, but hers is not taking new patients. My questions: has anyone used a NAET trained doctor or person, was it successful with allergies, and if so would they recommend them? We live in the Denton, Texas area, but would be willing to travel elsewhere to someone highly recommended. After reading about NAET I wonder if it might help him in other areas. He had two seizures as a baby, and the specialists were amazed that he didn't have them more often after looking at his brainwave pattern. So he can't take any of the medicines that might be given for ADHD. Thanks for any suggestions and prayers.

NAET works great for many people although I haven't tried it for my autistic son yet. I know there is a chiropractor named Robert Louder in Dallas who does this treatment. And yes your son's ADHD is likely related to his food allergies and sensitivies. His IgE antibodies show true food allergies but IgG testing (also blood test) shows food sensitivies. Alletess and Great Plains have 90-food IgG testing, Also there is a test called LEAP which includes additives for testing. ADHD can often be helped by the Feingold diet too. Many of us with autistic children beleive that ADHD in on the spectrum and like autism can be improved with dietary changes. A book that may be helpful for you is by Dr. Bock called Healing the New Childhood Epidemics: Autism, Asthma, ADHD and Allergies. Good luck.

M.,

I had my daughter's treated at DeHart Chiropractic in Denton. Dr. Jennifer Polen did the treatment. Have noticed great improvements in both. Please let her know that R. Dowling sent you. Good luck.

Have I got the person for your 11 year old! She is a chiropractor who specializes in NRT (nutrition response testing) AND NAET! She says she can wipe out allergies, and I believe her. Currently, I take my 5 yr. old son to her regarding detox of heavy metals and yeast. My son has a peanut allergy, and I asked her about NAET, and she said she could do it, but it might not be necessary b/c his peanut allergy might go away on its own after his 15-week detox program. If it doesn't go away, I will have her do the NAET and see if that works. She really knows what she is doing. I highly recommend her! Her name is Dr. Jennifer Dagnan, however, she is in Irving, and it would be quite a haul for you. But, I am convinced she could help your child. Her office # is ###-###-####. Maybe she can recommend a chiropractor who is closer to you. Good luck!
