Hi L.,
My question would be is this associated with any kind of activity or after a meal or something.
I might suspect asthma. Our family has a history of ashthma and rather than weezing we cough and/or throw up. If he has had a meal and his body is sending blood to digest the meal and not giving his lung the extra blood to give him the oxygen they need this maybe what is going on. If it is associated with running and playing and his lungs maybe needing the extra oxygen then. I have suspected asthma with my 2 yr old daughter, but I have been told that docs don't want to make that call when the children are so young. But when my daughter has a cold and I feel she needs it I give her a treatment w/ alburterol and she can run and play and eat and I have been very honest with her pediatrician and he has told me that if it works great.
Thats my 2-cents worth... hope that helps.
