My Sister Has a Cyst on Her Brain!

Has anyone ever had this happen to them? She had an MRI done and it's a tiny cyst that could shrink on it's own, or it could grow. If it grows, it will most likely cause her to go blind/and or be paralized. She is young, 22, and has 3 kids. She does have symptoms and they are migraines, dizziness, and sometimes her legs and arms get tingly.

What can I do next?

Its actually really common to find cysts and lesions in the ole noggin. Its one reason neurologists & docs avoid brain scans unless there are symptoms of note. Because even the idea is really freaky (even for neurology students, much less laymen).

Most self resolve.

Or just hang out for decades not causing any problems (brain is amazing).

If it does grow, those are AWESOME symptoms to have, because they're really noticeable, so the docs can go in and repair early.

The ones that are usually the most heartbreaking (in my experience) are ones adjacent next to cognitive areas (personality, reasoning, etc.) because those symptoms are often missed or shrugged off.

But with vision and paralysis... There will be super noticeable symptoms early. So they can be really proactive in dealing with it. Before permanent damage is caused.

My SIL sister has had a cyst on her brain for over a decade and has not grown. The docs found it in when she was in her 20's as well.

We recall a child that attended school with our daughter. They placed a shunt in her brain and drained the cyst.

I remember the parents being more freaked out than the child. We have lost touch with them over the years, but I do recall the child seemed just fine.

Can they not remove it, if it grows?

Hi B., your sister can fight it with balanced nutritional supplements. I know of so many who did and are dong great. If you give your body a blanced nutritional supplements that is formulated in a bioavailable and synergisic way it will help shrink the cyst.

I will be happy to share more information with her if she is open to it.

Wishing her all the best.
