hi everyone,
i am sending this request in hoping someone might now of a group that my friend can go to for some support. she gave her baby up for adoption a couple of weeks ago. it was adopted by a family member. she is emotionally having difficulty with her decision. she wanted to find a group of women going thru the same thing that she can talk to that under stands her fealing. she is a recovering addict. and i am so worried that her emotions are going to cause her to relapse. i dont want to see this happen to such a good person. she has 4 kids of her own. she did this because she knew it would be best for the baby. does anyone have any good words of encouragment or know of a place she can go for support? and one more thing. are there any AA meeting in east orlando. she would like to start going to them again. she is new to this area and doesn't have a lot of friends here.
You know something that has to be very very difficult I can't imagine having to make a diction like that. I honestly would advise her to turn to the word (Bible) get in to the word and a church that can help her through this (fellowship) with other believers. There are other forces making her feel the way she does, God forgives her already.

I found alot of Help and Support , and my Faith in
my Churh when I lost my Baby also when my precious Hubby died.
And I also believe in NA which is Nacotics Assc.

There is a local agency that offers free post-adoption counseling to all women who have placed a child. ###-###-####.
Aa groups are listed on line. Just go the website and look for locations.
There is AA meeting at St. Stephens Church on Lk underhill on wed nights.
