To know... we ALL occaisonally get off the phone or out of an appointment and realize "Oops! Forget something!" PLEASE FEEL FREE TO CALL YOUR DOCTOR BACK and ask her specifically what else it could be and how long to wait until coming back in.

As for my own (not a MD) thoughts:
The two dangerous ones are vaginosis/PID and retained tissue. Since it's neither of those as yet... have you tried treating for yeast infection? Monistat would be my go to.
The other (not so happy) possibilities are:
a) It's hormones... and that's just the way you're going to smell for awhile... FDS and douching helps
or
b) You have a resistant strain of vaginosis because others were NOT dilligent as you have been in finishing your course of antibiotics.
If you treat for yeast infection OTC, and it's still discharging and smelling awful, I'd make another appointment. Personally, I'd wait about a week (not saying you should), UNLESS I got any other symptoms (fever, cramping, etc.). If any other symptoms cropped up I would go in immediately.
