Hi Moms! My daughter is 28 months old. She has had all her teeth in for a year now. She is still drooling like crazy! It's driving me nuts. She soaks her shirts on a regular basis. Her teeth came in straight. She does this with or without a pacifier. With her mouth open or closed. She doesn't have a lazy lip or anything (for lack of a better term). She is a very very smart little girl and understands just about all instructions we give her for anything. ...Except swallow your spit. Anyhow, do you have any ideas on what I could say to her to make her understand? Thanks Moms!

My son drooled until he was 3. He stopped right around the time we cut the pacifier ("night night") out of his life. He drenched his shirts! I was a little concerned too. My niece drooled too and my sister took her to the doctor and he said that at her young age it was most likely not physiological. No drooling for either of them past a certain age.

Hi A.:

It may be a digestive issue, more specifically an imbalance in the stomach. I have had clients who benefited from a change in diet, combined with Enzyme Therapy. Enzymes are natural chemicals in our bodies that greatly assist proper assimilation of food and support the health of our organs, without them life would not exist! Enzyme Therapy puts back the appropriate enzymes into body in order for it to function at its optimum.

Just FYI: My daughter was like this through age 2. It was unexpectedly stopped when her huge tonsils & adenoids came out at 28 months. She didn't have them out b/c of sickness (remarkably, she really didn't get sick!) but b/c of sleep apnea.
best wishes

Not sure what kind of tooth brushing you are doing, but making sure you do this before she goes to sleep to eliminate the bacteria in her mouth before sleep may also help with the drooling.
