go to the doctor immediately. esp since its summer, there is a very high chance she could have some degree of dehydration. after that is looked at, figure out whats going on.

im not sure if this is an illness like a stomach bug or you mean this is an ongoing problem. either way, the doctor should figure out what it is. if its ongoing, it might be something serious, so dont delay. if you are saying she doesnt eat properly to begin with, i assume you mean she doesnt eat an appropriate amount for her age, if so, i would def get this taken care of because the reason she vomits may be the reason for her not wanting to eat. its not good when young kids lose weight, big red flag.

How many days has this been going on? If it has been more than 48 hours and she is unable to keep anything down, you definitely need to get her in to see someone. I'm not an alarmist when it comes to these sorts of things, but if you can see that she is losing weight, then the issue has become critical.

Call your pediatrician on-call, find an urgent care clinic...or go to the ER today.

How long has this been going on? Did you change anything in her diet? If it is only for a few days she may just have a flu. Our pediatrician recommends the BRAT diet when vomiting - bananas, rice, applesauce and toast. Also drinking diluted Gatorade to replace electrolytes (or CVS has electrolyte ice popsicles little kids can lick). If it has been going on for a long time she may be allergic to something. I would take her to the pediatrician.

If this has been going on for awhile, you need to take her to the ER. Maybe she swallowed something that is blocking her digestion.

The most important thing is for her to stay hydrated, to get liquids in. Wait at least *90 minutes* after she vomits to try and give her 1 tablespoon of a liquid like pedialyte or gatorage. The 90 minutes gives her stomach time to calm and relax after vomiting. Then if she holds that down, wait about 15 minutes and give her another tablespoon of liquid. Keep repeating this. This was the best advice given to me when my little one had vomiting. I was trying to give him liquids too quickly and didn't know to wait at least 90 minutes.

But if she can't hold anything down after you try this you need to contact her doctor immediately. Little ones can become dehydrated very quickly.
