My Annual Nerdy Halloween Question

Ok - this cost a whopping $6 or so - I bought a bunch of dollar store snakes and green nail polish - the snakes will go in my hairband and I'm trying to figure out how to tie on my bedsheet as a toga by myself (I will probably have to wait until work for assistance). You know who I am, right?
I didn't want any special make up - I have a big old makeup box with all sorts of eyeshadows for my face - any suggestions for application?
I know it's been asked before - but if you haven't answered or just decided - how will you dress up at work (if they allow it)?
My daughter wants to be a vampite cheerleader (I guess kind of Monster High-ish.). I just might put my dog in a tutu and take him with us :)

What can I do next?

You're Medusa! Great idea!!

I don't know much about makeup, but considering that it was the eyes that turned people to stone, I'd be sure to really make them dramatic.

I won't be dressing up tomorrow, but I'll throw on a hot pink wig when I take my kids out T/Ting.

I did this one year! I put Green sparkly eye shadow all over my face for a green titn. It ended up brushing off mostly and leaving me sickly yellow and shimmery.
If I were to do it again I would get face paint or some real halloween makeup :)

We live in the country so A. We don't get trick or Treaters and B. my kids are still young enough to Trick or Treat. That being said, when I lived at home and was younger or would go out with my friends, one of my parents did stay home and pass out candy. But they never dressed up. I definitely WOULD dress up if I were in your situation or once my kids are old enough to go alone or if we move somewhere that has Trick or Treaters!
