My son is 6 and is always hungry. I do mean always! He is right where he is supposed to be with his age as far as weight and height go he is 45in tall and 45lbs. But he is always eating for example here is what he has had today
Breakfast:two packs of oatmeal and a yogurt
Lunch: 10-15 Fishsticks and Mac and Cheese
Snack (2hrs later) Another 2 packs of oatmeal and a yogurt
Snack2 (2hrs later) Corn Dog, Cheese Stick, Grapes
That was an hour ago.. he is hungry again.

Is anyone else going thru this or have any idea when it will end? This has been going on for months now.. I thought it was a growth spurt but he has not changed height or weight since Sept.

What can I do next?

Might just be a growth spurt. Don't worry he's prepareing you for when he's a teen. :)

If he is eating all that and not gaining then he most likely needs to eat. I would not limit his food unless a dr. says to do so. You may need to take him in to rule out any health problems. Or believe it or not parasites can cause things like this.

Try filling him up with protein, veggies, and high fiber foods. It sounds like he's getting a lot of refined carbs, which digest more quickly. If you try to get some protein (meat, eggs, or nuts) and some whole grains into every meal and snack, he should be able to go longer without eating.

All I can tell you honey is good luck. We have a 14 year old who is just like that. Boys just never quit eating. The only thing I would suggest is that you limit it go three hours after he eats and then give him a snack then he can eat at the next meal. If you don't stop it now, when he gets older he will eat you out of house and home. Basically just put him on a schedule. Hope this helps

My 5 year old and my 3 year old go through times when they eat from the time they wake up to the time they go to sleep. Then there are times that they won't eat at all. I asked my Dr. about it and he said not to worry because kids are known to do that.

He is probably just growing. I bet in a little while you will see his pants will be a little shorter on him and he will need longer ones!
