Has she been checked for diabetes?
There are a number of conditions that can result in some funky body odors.
If your doctor isn't taking you seriously then get another doctor.

Sometimes it's caused by a medical condition (like diabetes) but the doctor should have noted that, so I'm guessing not.

My kids are lactose intolerant and that can cause a funny smell - and other foods can cause problems for some kids if they can't break them down. You'd have to look into that. I just know that my kids did better when we were off dairy. I don't remember it being related to neck, hands, etc. though.

I would check what products you're using (maybe try scent free to make sure she's not reacting somehow) and then see a dermatologist if it persists.

What is she putting on herself? Could it be compounding the problem?

The only other suggestion would be to make sure her hair is fully dry after washing - my kids have thick hair and if not fully dried can become musty (especially underneath). I noticed this when they took over blow drying duty. I never knew what people meant on here about 'smelly' hair until I noticed this. Easily avoided with a quick instruction but it's definitely worse if they sleep on it. This could be where the 'neck' problem comes from - not sure about the hands.

Keep us posted :) Hope you get it resolved.

First thing to do is to evaluate what she's eating. The skin is the biggest organ we have in our bodies and is the first place where anyone can readily discern an issue. As another commented mentioned: "What goes in the body must leave the body. Toxins and such.Try altering eating habits." This is BEYOND key here. Her body may be overwhelmed with something it simply doesn't want in there. Ha she ever had an allergy test? Did the pediatricians even mention this? She should have one ASAP.
