They have ear wax dissolving drops now. I don't know if they work or not. If you're really brave you can try scraping it out with an ear wax loop. You can get them at CVS or Walgreens.
We have tried hydrogen peroxide. We don't have health insurance...last time this happened I just took her to the Dr and it was clogged with ear wax. What are some thing I can do? Thanks

H.,
I have a daughter that constantly had issues with this. Her doctor told me to get mineral oil and then warm it up just a little. make sure it isn't hot just warm. then put it in her ear and eventually it will loosen the wax and come out. I took a bulb and sucked the wax out. It was big and hard but we don't have issues as much any more. You can also use olive oil if you don't have any mineral oil. It will lubricate it and make it come out.
Good luck!
I second the ear wax candles....you get them at a health food store. They are awesome!
What about ear candles?
Mix hydrogen peroxide w/ warm water and put into a bulb syringe. Pulse slowly and squirt into her ear. That should loosen up the wax continue doing that, and it should drain out while you are flushing it. Hope that works!
I would go to the pharmacy and get Murine's Ear Wax removal kit. Follow the directions and you should be fine. If she complains of pain in that ear, she really should get it looked at because there could be an infection behind the wax.
My son had this problem as well. It was so bad, it affected his hearing. The nurse at the dr's office used miralax (liquid stool softener). She filled the ear canal with miralax and allowed it to soak in his ear for 15-20 minutes. Then irrigated the ear with water and the clog of wax came right out. Hope this helps!
