If the other responses don't work out for you, I have a good friend who teaches both piano and guitar, and I teach piano as well. We like to have our recitals together. Carla Deasy, located in the Mt. Carmel area of RWC, is a good choice for piano. Very reasonably priced and good with kids. 1/2 hour lessons in her home, she taught my daughter for years. Give her a call... ###-###-####
For guitar, try Gelb Music on Broadway, across from Sequoia HS. A lot of kids take lessons there, my son did for awhile. Guitar lessons were a little more expensive than piano, but he seemed to learn well. Good luck!

I don't know where Emerald Hills is but we have a wonderful piano/guitar teacher. He teaches both to my son and just piano to my daughter. He comes to our house and is great. He's been teaching my kids for over a year now. I highly recommend him. He lives in San Fran but does come to the peninsula one day a week.
