YES. Love my Murano.
Bought my Murano in '07 while trying to get pregnant the first time. The backseat is spacious and comfortable for 3 adults w/plenty of legroom. Now I have 2 kids--16month old is in a rear-facing seat and the 1 month old in the infant seat. I have one child on each side, and a medium to small person could fit in the middle if needed (although I wouldn't do that for a long trip!). My husband and I are tall with long legs and would prefer to put our seats back more, but we are still very comfortable with the carseats in back.
My double wide stroller fits perfect in the back (Bumbleride Indie Twin) and I have just enough room to fit a case of water or soda from Costco--but I have to take it out to make a big costco run.
I get 17.5 mpg overall mixed fwy & city, but mostly city. It handles very well and is maneuverable enough in tight parking lots. The reverse camera is great--not something I would have paid extra for, but I love it now.
When car shopping, I compared it to the Lexus SUV (which I really loved), and I think the Murano is a much better deal comparing features vs. price. I feel safe in my Murano. It is spacious enough around me that I don't feel like a sardine (I didn't feel safe--too cramped--in the Highlander).
I have two friends with Muranos also (one with 1 child, one with 2). Feel free to email me any more Q's about the Murano.
