Has anyone used Murad before? Was it Good or bad? I am thinking of getting some to try out for adult acne. I have tried all the OTC products and nothing is working. Ahh! In fact it's worse! I would love to hear from other mamas!! Also where can I buy it besides online?
Thanks!

What can I do next?

I am trying the Cetaphil and so far it seems to be working on the acne but not the scars.:( I will have to see what I can find for those as they are worse than the acne!!

I'm with the others...Murad is ok. I didn't use it for acne, I used it for skin discoloration and it worked but now the problem is under control I'm going to see what else is out there. Murad is too expensive to just say it't ok.

I used Murad as a last resort before making a derm appt. I found that it just made my acne worse! Althought, the sales lady told me that it would do that since it cleans out your pore for the first two weeks, but I used for over a month and it just keep getting worse. I went to the derm. and they gave me differin gel and clindamyacin(topical antibiotic). He also told me to use cetaphil as a cleanser. I only used the meds for 1 month and found that my make-up was making my face to dry. I used bare minerals b/c I heard its the best for your skin. I still use bare minerals but I have to moisturize twice a day. Such an easy fix, I just had no idea my face was over producing oil due to the make-up absorbing it. The derm. Dr. even asked me "do you think it could be your make-up?" I just passed it off as hormones after having a baby!
So, what I learned is to look at everything you are using daily. All the otc treatments only made my face more dry and increased my acne.I did so much research on different acne treatments and use everything from pro-activ to murad. An in the end the thing that worked is Oil of Olay moisturizer!I'm not saying this will work for you, but I would evaluate your skin care routine.

Murad isn't bad. You can get it at most beauty salons that offer spa services and facials. I like MD Formulations better.

Have you tried the Proactive system? I think you can get it at Sephora. My friend used it for her adult acne and I've never seen anything clear up as fast as her skin after she started using it!!

Murad is ok. You can buy it at Ulta. I don't know what price point you are looking at, but I suggest you look into Obagi products. They are the best and I have never heard anyone who didn't love it.
