Hi!
I'm looking for an email group or other internet forum for families living in Vancouver Canada. We are a family of five with three kids under the age of nine. After 15 years in Los Angeles we are about to move to Vancouver and I would love to ask parents living there about pre-schools, schools and safe areas to live.

Any other advises or suggestions how to make the move easier on the children...and us... would be appreciated.

Thank you and have a lovely summer

The only thing I know about Vancouver is that it is beautiful! I hear Banff is also beautiful.

Anyway, if you are moving there for your husband's job (or your job), have him ask his co-workers where they live, what areas are nice, what preschools they recommend, etc. Good luck!

I live in Canada and have many friends in Vancouver. I am going to send you a PM with my email. Or if you find it easier, find me on Facebook. I will connect you with the families I know there.

I love Vancouver! You are so lucky!!! Besides having to say that, I don't have first hand knowledge about what it is like to live there.

I am not from there, but Summer before last, we visited for a second time and loved it once again. However, the second time, we visited Richmond, Canada, which is about 20 minutes outside of Vancouver... it was really nice and seems to be the upcoming and coming place (as Vancouver has gotten a bit expensive) anyway.............. you're so lucky to be moving up that way.. the people have always been so nice to us and it's a very clean place (from all that I saw) .... good luck on your new journey !!!
