Our fave is Burnham Park, but there are other good ones. Be sure to check out MATAM (Moms & Tots and More). We have weekly dinner playdates at the parks...

Hi Moms!
We are just relocating from Cleveland to Morristown. I was hoping you could help me out with some playgrounds / parks I could take my 2 and 4 year old to! They are use to playing out with friends all the time and so I am trying to make this change as smooth as possible! Thanks for your help!

My husband's uncle retired from the Morris Couty Parks Commission a few years ago. I can find out from him the names & locations of some parks. Knowing him, he may still have some information on them (he keeps everything). I'll let you know as soon as I hear back from him.
You should look at http://www.njplaygrounds.com/blog-n-photos/. It is a fairly comprehensive listings of playgrounds. Good luck!
Burnham Park has already been mentioned here. Another favorite is Loantaka Brook Reservation. It has a playground and walking/biking trails. We also like going to Lewis Morris Park. It's slightly farther but has a lake where you can swim during summer. Also has a playground and walking trails.
Morristown also has a few pools and you can join one of the them depending on where you'll live. Kids spend a lot of time there in the summer. In general, it's a nice town with friendly people and lots of activities for children.
Good luck with your transition!
check out njplaygrounds.com. it is a great site!
also a book called the playground guide covering morris county.
good luck and happy playing:)
