We are moving to the Little Elm area to be closer to my husband's work. There are 3 different school districts and so many areas. Anyone know where is the best area to look? I will have an 8th grade girl and a Kindergarten girl. Any info would be appreciated!

What can I do next?

Little Elm has it's own district--or at least it did when I was in college about 9 years ago. I did some teacher observations in the elementary school 5th grade. The teacher I was with was very nice and organized. However, the district was a little too rural for me but, then again, Little Elm is a rural place. So if you like the city, you'll probably like the school district.

You will find great values in Little Elm right now! I'm a realtor with Keller Williams and sell a lot out there. I would recommend, for the best value, try to find a Little Elm home that's in Frisco schools. I can help you do this by setting up a search in MLS that will send you all the available listings that meet that criteria. The system will also automatically email you with any new listings on the market that come on daily. If you want to check school ratings, just go to my website at www.lyndakfisher.com and click on "About the Area" and then click on "School Ratings" and then find Frisco schools. Exemplary is the best rating followed by Recognized and then Acceptable. That may be a guide for you.

Please contact me if I can be of assistance to you. I know the area well and would love to help you!

I just moved out of Little Elm. My daughter went to Lakeview Elementary. I actually liked it very much. I wish I knew a little about you to help make a decision for you, and what kind of budget. Because if money is not an object then over by Legacy and Teel in the gated community is awesome! I have so many friends that went to church at Prestonwood live in that subdivision. It is Lewsville school district, but it has it's own elementary school for that subdivision. The prices start out a little higher but well worth it. Almost any of the public schools in Frisco are amazing. They are all new and get teachers from the existing schools. Many teachers like to work there because they pay more than Little Elm. I think I heard the best Frisco school was the one that came from Waterford subdivision off Main and Teal I think?? But if you have a lower budget and need to get a smaller, cheaper house then go with Lakeview Elementary. The subdivision called Elederado Estates is very nice. I am not a realeste agent, I just lived there for about 5 years and still have my house as a rent house. SO if you have any more questions let me know and I might be able to help. Also, consider how long you want to live there...If you have no money, but want to live there for more than 5 years a new house might be nice so you have warrenties, but the resale of new homes takes a little longer. But, I do know get an agent that has experience with new homes because right now they are giving HUGE discounts and incentives!!
Good Luck, L.
