I am a SAHM of a 2 1/2 and 1 1/2 year old and have recently done this myself having moved from New Zealand to Rockwall! Some places you may like to look into are:

The Lighthouse Private School Ph:###-###-####, they are located Horizon Road. Their facilities are very modern, fresh and clean and the staff seem lovely. Our 2 1/2 yo son will be starting here next Tuesday for 2 days a week.

Primrose School which is on Ridge Road, they have a website which can be located under www.primroseschool.com

Country Day Montessori whose website is www.cdmschool.com I know a couple of families who have chldren going there and they really like it.

Also if you look under http://www.rockwalledc.org/Documents/Education.pdf you will get a list of other Rockwall preschools as well.

If you move to Rockwall, there is an excellent Day Care / Preschool in Rowlett (just across the lake) - Pecan Creek Day School. Their number is ###-###-####. My three year old goes there and loves it. Also, they have a licensed lifeguard on duty in the summer that gives swimming lessons on site for ages 3+. And they have a dance instructor and a gymnastics instructor that come in weekly to teach classes on site. Park Cities has several nice child care facilites also, I'm just not familiar with any in that area.
