my kindergartener and i are moving to bel air from gaithersburg at the beginning of november and i would appreciate some recommendations for the following:
1. pediatrician
2. family practice or general practitioner (for me)
3. after school care, she'll probably be attending homestead/wakefield
4. soccer
5. girl scouts
6. piano
and anything else you think i should know. feel free to pm if you want to tell me something sensitive or what not to choose.

I can only help with the pediatrician as my kids are younger and not yet involved in the activities you listed. As for a family practice, I am on the lookout for a new one myself!
Our kids go to Bright Oaks Pediatrics and we have been very pleased.

i love my pediatrician at North Park Pediatrics. my OB/GYN is coleus/kaplan (they just moved to abingdon).
we did soccer through bel air rec council - season ends 11/5
they have girl scout troops existing through HWES - and most other elem. schools.
no help on piano or after school care.
I Second Bright Oaks Pediatrics for care and there is also a dentist office right next door that you may b interest in which is Laurel Bush Dentistry. I have heard fabulous things about the Arena club soccer program. It's indoors and a new session starts every 6 weeks. Girl Scouts through the schools or if you call their headquarters, they will direct you to a troop that's close to you. I have heard that Dr. Gillian Adams at Plumtree Family Medicine is very nice. You can also check to see if the Y has after school programs at homestead wakefield and listen out if there has been a good response with them being there. Hope this helps.
