The best places to get boxes are either a liquor store (very sturdy) and Wal-Mart or HEB at night. Spending money on boxes is not a good idea unless you get it for an amazing price!
We are moving at the end of the month. We will renovate the house we are purchasing and will need to move some of our things into storage. We're looking for recommendations on moving supplies (boxes and packing material) as well as storage options. THANKS!!
Thanks everyone! I went to Ecobox and picked up exactly what I needed for under $50. Their service was excellent, the used boxes were in good condition, and it was easy to find the right size container. I would definitely recommend them.

Uncle Bob's Storage has a good deal right now. www.unclebobs.com. There are a few around Austin. They also sell boxes and moving stuff.
When I went through my last move, I bought the big plastic tubs at the Dollar Store - not the best plastic tubs, but they have lids and you can stack them very easily. You mark what's in the tub on the sides, so when you store it, you can walk back in later and find what you are looking for - if you need to get it before you finalize your move. After the storage, the tubs fit into each other for a limited use of space in your garage or attic - and they could be used for just about anything after your move - winter clothes, holiday gear, etc.
Good luck with your move and I'm glad it's not me.
If you can't find the right size box for free, then try Ecobox store. They sell used boxes of all sizes. There's a location in La Frontera in Round Rock, one central on Rutledge (but that location will be moving to Metric soon), and I think one down south. Their website is Ecobox.com.
I don't know about storage, but I did see moving supplies at Sam's the other day. I'm sure they are reasonably priced.
