We go to Dr. Ann Parrington near Mercy. She and her partner Dr. Jana Freeman are great! Easy to get in, very responsive, nice office staff. Good luck!!
My family is in the process of moving to North OKC/Edmond area and I need a good pediatrician. I'm looking for a doctor with a smaller office/less patient load (our current pediatrician has between 4,000 and 5,000 kids). I just want a doctor that has time to talk me to and that is personable. I would also like an office that can get you in same day if neccessary.

Dr. Dickman, he works out of Baptist. His office is located right off NW Expressway and Hefner Parkway by Baptist Hospital. He is wonderful!!
I would highly recommend Dr. Scott, she is with the Pediatric Group at Baptist, or Dr. Sigler who is also there. They are both wonderful Dr's and you can visit their website at http://www.pediatricgroupokc.com/?Home. If you can't get in to see one, the other one is always available and they do converse with one another so they always know what is going on with your child. I hope this helps!
We see a group practice in Edmond. It was called Edmond Physicions but has recently become a branch of Integris. It is in the area of 15th and Kelly. We see Dr. Jeanne Schaefer most of the time. But if she is not available we can see someone else in the group which we have only had to do once in 3 yrs. Office phone is ###-###-####. They recommend an after hours clinic just around the corner which will send the reports to Dr. Shaefer if we have something not during normal office hours.
M.,
I moved here from Phoenix, AZ two months ago and live in Edmond. When we first moved here, my 6mo old son got sick and we HAD to find a doctor. Like you, before we moved here I put out a post to find a pediatrician. Some people recommended Village Center Pediatrics on Kelly and Covell. We saw Dr. Susan Maschino ###-###-####. She was very nice, personable, held my son and made him feel comfortable, and she let me hold him while she checked him out some, which I loved. They even fit me in the same day I called. I have since called them a few times to ask questions and the nurses are always nice and they call you back within a few hours. I have been very happy with them so far. Good luck!

We really like Michael Elliott in Guthrie. It's in another town, but the drive is only about 15 minutes from Edmond. It takes that long to get anywhere IN Edmond nowadays. He does both adults and kids (he's a pediatrician AND an internist, not a family doctor) and my boys really feel comfortable with him. He has been very "available" to us when we needed him, although his office hours are a little bit limited (8:30 to 4:00) since he takes care of people in the hospital.
I ask a lot of questions, but he's never made me feel like I was wasting his time, like some others do.
About same-day visits, his office reserves the entire afternoon for sick visits. The only downside is that for well-baby stuff and routine followups, you have to schedule before noon. But I like knowing that we can get in to see him.
Also big plus: HE DOESN'T HAVE A P.A. so you actually get to see the doctor.
