Have her swish really really warm (as close to hot as she can stand) salt water around in her mouth three times a day. They will clear up quickly.

Hello T.,

I also get internal mouth blisters on occassion, usually caused by allergies-both airborne and food related. The best thing my doctor ever told me was to mix 1/2 milk of magnesia and 1/2 children's liquid benadryl (I use 1 large drop of each - store brand works fine)and dab it onto the blister with a q-tip several times per day. The benadryl numbs mucous membrane thus creating instant comfort, reducing the swelling and stopping the allergic reaction at the site, and the milk of magnesia assists this process in some magic way that I don't understand, but I love it because it works. It usually clears up within 24 hours. This is also a great solution for people wearing dental braces that suffer with the little cuts inside their mouth; or, that bite their tongue or cheek while chewing. It has been a real life saver to me. Good luck.

My children get the same thing we use Gly-oxide it costs a little but is well worth the money. We use it and by the next day the blisters are gone. Good Luck

There is nothing that i have found to clear them, but I have had the same thing with me and my son, and we are allergic to tomatoes. (that includes anything with tomatoes in it.) I hope this helps. Good luck.

If they are Canker sores, I have dealt with them my entire life. The best thing that works for me is switching toothpaste to "Squiggle Enamel Saver" toothpaste. I've only found it online, and I buy as many as I can at once. It is free of Sodium Laurel Sulfate (and S.L. Sarcosinate), both are detergents like they put in Tide to make it foam. Many people have allergies or hypersensitivites to this and it can cause Canker sores. I only found out about it 1 yr ago, and it has helped 99% of mine - they are less frequent and smaller. I typically only get 1 (sometimes 0) around my cycle now, whereas I would get them all month before, sometimes 5-6 around my cycle.

Hope this helps!

does she get enough vitamin C? or is she allergic to something? I'm allergic to ragweeds and I a blister on my gums way up where the lip starts whenever I eat lettuce, sunflower seeds or food with sunflower or safflower oil.
Good luck! ~C.~

My step daughter had the same problem around the same age. My pediatrician told me it could be a vitamin deficency. I increased her vitamin C and they went away. She still gets them from time to time, but whenever they come about, she'll switch to orange juice for a day and they clear right up. Hope this helps!
