Hi L., try keeping baby upright after feeding. Remember baby doesn't have our clearing reflex, baby may have gotten some up her nasal passage. If it continues take her to pediatrician. My 11 old was like that, it was like the excorsist. LOL. Try less aggressive burping, i used to forget how easy baby needs burping, and next thing i knew i was pounding on them without knowing it. Good luck...

Yuk! That has happened to us before. Make sure you are keeping her upright after each feeding for 30 minutes or so. You can also elevate the head of her mattress with a few towels. If it keeps up, or a lot comes out, you should tell the ped. She may have reflux or need a special formula. My 2nd son needs gas drops in his bottle and is on enfamil gentlease. Before this he was a like a baby volcano!

Hi! i have a 3 month old who was the same way since hes born, he would spit up, throw up(and through his little nose), and just very fussy after eating. His doc told me to try gas drops, but that didnt help, so she told me to add rice cereal to his bottle and that helped alot!! I put equal amounts of cereal and formula scoops. Plus i bought something from babies r us, its a wedge that you put under the sheet to lift them up a little. I am also giving him zantac for the spit up, but im tyring to not give it to him so much and hes been ok without it. Good LucK!

L.,
My little girl was the same way when she was a baby. She had reflux. We had to get a formula just for this. We could not move her at least 1/2 after she was done eating. The formula is a thicker formula just for this problem. You should talk to you doctor about it. My little one had it so bad that she didn't keep much formula down at all. She didn't gain hardly any wieght for along time until she started eating solids. Then she acted like she was starved. I guess she kinda was. Now she is a big eater, and kinda on the heavy side. I think it is linked to her not being able to keep her milk down and when she started eating the couldn't get full.
