Morning Sickness... - Uniontown,PA

Switching gears, and lightening things back up a little after that last doozie...

I am 8 weeks pregnant today... :) And as of yet, I have not experienced any real morning sickness or nausea. I have very slight queasiness, but if I keep eating small things throughout the day, that pretty much takes care of it.

I am knocking on wood as I type this... but do you think that it's relatively safe to say that if I haven't developed serious nausea by this point, that maybe I'll get lucky and not be bothered by it this pregnancy?

What can I do next?

I have been sick from about weeks 5 through 40 with both pregnancies, if I ever made it to week 8 without puking I would dance a jig. You may not have it at all, for most I think weeks 8-10 tend to be the worst. I'll keep my fingers crossed for you. Congrats on the pregnancy!!!

You might be just fine, but so many gals dont even find out they are pg till about now, and then it starts, so, keep thinking positive and eating small meals, and fingers crossed and knocking on wood,, and maybe it will be ok. I felt fine with the first one but would just all of a sudden gag and throw up. I was sicko feeling all 9 months with the 2nd one and never threw up once, but wished I could. I just know I kept thinking,,anyday now I will feel fine. but, no.. If you do get that ewww feeling,, Wheat Thins work so much better than soda crackers.

You really need to get

Sea bands

You wear them on your wrist's.

They really do work.

You can get them at a pharmacy.
Call around first before you start driving around.

Well, I hope it continues this way for you!
With my son, I didn't have any real "morning sickness" more than what you're describing...with me it was more of an aversion to certain foods or the sight of certain foods (Giants sized Code Blue Slurpees were, apparently, OK though!), the smells of certain things--meat cooking, etc. And especially the sight of a LOT of food in O. place--a buffet, a loaded dinner plate, etc.

The women in my family never had any morning sickness at all in any of their pregnancies, then there was me... I had morning sickness for the first 8 months when I was pregnant with my daughter (I gained no weight at all just lost) and everything was fine, same with the women in my family they were all fine without it.

Well everyone is different, but I started vomitting my brains out at 6 weeks like clockwork with all 3. I really hope you can get by without it!

I hope that you don't have to get it. For me, with my daughter, I thought I was also in the clear. As soon as I hit 10 weeks, I pretty much lived in the bathroom until about 15 weeks. With my son, I felt great. Never had any

Hi L.
Hopefully you are safe now. Mine was severe from 6 to 17 weeks. I am now 23 weeks and can't stop eating lol which is fab as I vomited everything that I ate when I had the sickness.
So lucky you to have got a way with it.
All the best

I did not have morning sickness either time I was pregnant. The first time I did have a miscarriage. The second time, i did not have it either. at this point I would say you should be ok. Once you 12 weeks and do not get sick then you should be safe. I was very queezy thorough the first 14 weeks then I started to feel better. I think the way you are eating is awesome. Make sure to eat healthy. You will find certain things may make you feel queezy. For me it was the smell of coffee and raw onions. Best of luck to you.
