Are you nursing the new baby? If so, I don't think the pill you speak of is something you can safely take.
I too do not agree with this form of birth control. But it is your choice not mine.
I am seeking some information on the morning after pill. My husband and I have 3 beautiful children. A 5 yr old, 3 1/2 yr old and a 6 week old. We got a little crazy last night and in the heat of the moment, had unprotected sex. My husband had a vasectomy about 1 month ago, so he still has not "cleaned out" all of his swimmers.
I was wondering if anyone has used the morning after pill, cost, side effects and effectiveness. I would appreciate any info. Thanks!

I don't know anything about the morning after pill but a better first option might be to see if your husband can bring in a sample to see what's actually going on in there at this point.
I'm sorry but life should have more value and meaningful sex with your husband is a special gift for marriage be careful if nothing else you have no idea what side affects these drugs can cause
Hi Claudia, I took this years ago. (I was 21 and didn't want to have any surprises) It is basically a high dose of birth control pills. I spent the entire day getting sick. (a normal side effect)
I told my boyfriend (now husband) at that time, that if there was ever another "accident" we were going to just have to take our chances. I spent an entire day feeling pretty miserable.
It is worth it for the peace of mind, but just be prepared that you will most likely be down for a day.
Good luck!
I hate to tell you this, but the morning after pill is a no-no. Go here - get educated.

If you think you could be pregnant, give this baby's life a chance.
Sorry to be blunt, but my conscious wouldn't let me pass this one by.
By the way - your welcome for the support - I always support the unborn.
I don't think you're even fertile right now after just having a baby 6 weeks ago. Why don't you call your OB to find out if you even need to worry about it!
