Ladies-

Go figure, we are planning a monster themed birthday party for our DS. Some time ago, I came accross this brilliant picture of a Monster crudite platter, and monster fruit platter that someone had made online, together with other crafty Monster Party ideas. The platter looked like a monster face and included broccoli, red pepper, cauliflower, etc. I can't find it anymore.

If you have any luck with this, can you send me some links?

Thanks a Bunch

You are lucky because with Halloween approaching, there are lots of ideas for monster treats online... I'd google search it for ideas (Sorry, I hate when I ask a question and someone tells me to google it), but my point is that there are lots of ideas out there right now, and although I can't point you in the direction of your specific question, you may find other equally as cool ideas... a specific site to look at is FamilyFun.com... they have some cute ideas... also, MarthaStewart.com... she does too.

Good luck finding some cool monster treat ideas!

I remember it. It was brocoli for the face, with cauliflowere white hair. A carrot nose, the eyes were red, but I dont remember if they were red radish discs or something red that was a little bigger. The mouth was I think rows of black olives.

So this link doesn't show one platter, but shows a lot of fun halloween food ideas.

I Bing searched "monster face vegetable plate" and found a couple of ideas under 'images'. The best one that looked like a monster was made out of fruit though. I say get creative and just try stuff out with the broccoli and red pepper and carrot shreds. I Googled it too and got some weird results.... a picture of Hitler? The cookie monster? Bing got me better results.

Try parents.com. I believe I saw something similar in their magazine.
