I haven't really lived in SLC for very long, and during that time I went through a divorce. My X and I have joint custody and the kids switch back and forth between houses every Sunday (one week on, one week off basically). Because I'm not married and I only have my kids with me half of the time, it's hard to find women to do things like going to the gym or "chick flicks" or other "girls night out" type things because most women that I've met are either too busy with their own full-time families, or they don't have any kids so they feel like I'm just a flake when I can't go out because I have my kids. I just want to find some other moms that like to get out with the girls sometimes!

I'm another single mom on here, I'm 25 and have a 5 year old girl. I'd love to meet some other parents to have fun with so let me know if any of you may get together!
You sound like a great friend to have and much like you I also could use a few close friends who can relate to the single parenting custody share situation....I live in the Sandy/Draper area and have been through a divorce or two myself. I can totally relate to needing girl's night out and having someone to go to the gym, dinner, movies, travel whatever. Most of my close friends don't have children or are also very involved with their own families and don't have the extra time. My sons )ages 4yrs and 7yrs) visit their dads every other weekend and a few days mid week. It would be nice to have a close friend who can relate to the parenting routine and looks forward to "me" time as much as I do. I also work full time in the travel industry and love to travel!! Always looking for girlfriends to travel with. Going to New York next month :) I am currently engaged to a wonderful man whom I've been with for the past 3yrs, but he is also very busy with his work and travels frequently leaving me alone or just the kids and I depending on the week. I love the outdoors, hiking, biking,snowboarding, hanging at the park as well as shopping downtown or just enjoying a nice cocktail with the ladies....email me at ____@____.com .........
