I'm hoping everyone is having a great holiday weekend! I was wondering if anyone can refer me to some moms groups in Geneva, IL? I have a 13 month old that I would love to get out with and socialize.

Check out meetup.com and you can search for groups of people by location and interest. There are a few groups on there for the Geneva area.

There's a great moms group called Moms in the Mission that meets at Rejoice Lutheran in Geneva. Its first meeting of the year is Sept.9 from 9 to 11 a.m. The group is a mission-based group. They do something different every month, i.e. collecting food for a homeless shelter, or assembling "chicken soup in a jar" for people recovering from illness. Plus, there's Bible study and plenty of time to just visit with other Moms. And child care is FREE!

I belong to "Tots on the Fox", a Meetup.com group. It's a great group with scheduled events.
I belong to Kane County Playgroup and we always have events in Geneva, St. Charles, Batavia, North Aurora and surrounding areas. The moms are awesome and I have made a ton of great friends since I joined back in 2006. You can join by going to: www.bigtent.com. Hope to see you at future events! :-)
