I am planning a little fun spa evening for my little girl ...I have got the foot bath out, Manicure & Pedicures Planned. I am trying to think of a Child Safe Fun Facial, Any Suggestions on something fun for a 4 year old, and a friend?
Thank you to everyone you sent out suggestions. The evening went very well, for a 3 y/o & 4 y/o they sat still for the entire evening. We started off with the foot bath, I used a Honey, Almond Oil mixture for the bath mix. They read Fancy Nancy Books & sat while the water bubbled around their feet, they did get lotion rubbed on their feet also. (Kept lots of towels handy for wet feet when they needed a potty break or wanted to get up.)
Manicure& Pedicure-They each got to their Nails Painted, which they decided to patterns. Pink, White & Purple
For the Facial, I went with the Cucumbers & Fruit Facial, they liked it. They were not sure about the way it felt when it was drying but they quickly got over it.
While we doing all of this, we had popcorn & veggies sitting on the table, along with Shirley Timples (sprite & grenadine) for the girls. It was so cute.
To end the night the girls flopped place, they painted our nails, applied the facial, and acted like they ran the spa. I am not sure which part they enjoyed more. I was not thinking they would want to be on the giving end but they almost seemed to have more fun painting our nails, and applying the facial, it was a little messy but they really got a kick out of it.
I am sure it thought them something about how you may not always receive sometimes it is nice to give, but really I just think it made them feel like big girls. I would suggest it to everyone. If your little one has a shorter attention span, I would skip the facial. Maybe play a game between each activity.

There are tons of fruit- or veggie-based facial masks you can make yourself, with a blender. Just do a google search and you'll find lots of choices. And of course if she ate some it wouldn't hurt her. Also it might be part of the excitement to mix it all up in the blender together! Have fun.

One thing we did at a Girl Scout training was oatmeal and honey. Then we massaged it onto each other's faces and got a huge laugh out of how silly we all looked plastered with oatmeal!

You can make your own clenser with just 2 TBs of yogurt and 2TBS of honey. I like the avacado mask idea. Another one is just an egg white facial. That firms up a bit, but works great. Another fun idea is make your own scrub which is nothing more that a tablespoon or two of sugar to a tablespoon or two of veggie oil. Very gentle on the skin. Little veggie oil with a drop of lavender in it as a follow up moisturizer and I think you've got a fantastic all natural facial!
You could even make your own bath/ foot soak fizzies. Just by taking an alkaselzer tablet and putting a drop of an essential oil in it. Say lavender for a bath, or peppermint for a foot soak. Put one in as a foot soak or pop 3 of them in the tub. VERRRRY Nice and cheap too! Sounds like fun. ENJOY!!

I don't know if this event happened yet or not. But I am actually an at home spa consultant so if you still have questions I can help. Just let me know...or if you would like something lovely for yourself!

Mashed avocado makes a good mask and would be safe (and fun) for the little ones. I think this is a really cute idea! I might have to do this with my nieces sometime. :)

I would just massge a little lotion into their faces and have them put the cucumbers on their eyes. Keep it simple. 4 y/o dont sit still for to long!!! You could also try let themselves put make up on. thats always good for a laugh!!!
