I'm 19 years old and have inflammatory arthritis. (my doctor has not wanted to diagnosis me with Rheumatoid arthritis because I do not show a rheumatoid factor, however I have all the symptoms of rheumatoid arthritis, my sister has RA and so he is treating it as RA). I have a 19 month old son. It's really hard, especially on the mornings where I'm afraid to pick him up out of his crib because I hurt so much and I don't want to drop him. My husband tries to help as much as he can but he just doesn't understand the pain I'm in day in and day out. As well, recently my doctor changed my medicine so I've been worse between pain and boughts of sickness because of the medicine.
Unfortunately I'm still kind of new to the entire thing, though I've had the inflammed joints most of my life I just recently have become much worse than I used to be. I want to have more children but one of my fears is that I'll have a girl and though I would love to have a girl it seems that diseases like RA and Fibromyalgia tend to happen to girls in my family line and not so much with the boys. If you ever want to talk my email is ____@____.com I wish I could give you tips but maybe it will help knowing that there are more of us out there.
