You are a wonderful mom and wife. He doesn't know how lucky he is to have you. I reached my breaking point way before you. I have a 6 month old and reached mine little by little until finally when my son was 5 months old, I told my husband and mother in-law that I was thinking of getting an apartment and my husband could drop by and visit us when he felt like it. If he didn't want any of the responsibilities then fine, but at least I wanted a life without the disappointments. I was let down every day. I was beginning to hate him and would have been happier by myself. After having a talk with him and her and explaining that I was becoming a different person and I didn't want to be a bad mom or wife but if this continued, I would. My husband said he didn't realize I felt that way and asked me to write down the things I needed of him, so I did. I put it on the fridge. I was pumping and washing all the bottles and preparing them myself. Not anymore, now he washes all the bottles, helps with bath (I still feed and put to bed), gets up by 9am each day (I'm usually up at 6:30 or 7), and wakes up with our son one day a week so I can get a little more sleep and watches him so I can run errands or get my hair trimmed. Life is better now. The key is that they aren't like us, you have to be specific and write it down. Like the trash, if they do it every day, they will remember. They don't look around and think, "What needs to be done?" like we do. Also, if he starts forgetting things, I have to remind him still. He will get away with doing NOTHING if I let him. It is okay to break down in front of him and let him know how serious this is. If you are close with his or your parents, don't be afraid to ask for help. I really hope it gets better. Please keep updated.

I recently went with my fiance to a seminal put on by the Oklahoma marriage initiative, and it was spectacular. It helps teach couples how to properly and effectively communicate when things arent going so well - so that the argument doesnt wind up degrading into a couple of apes bashing each other over the head with clubs. It was very upbeat and engaging for both of us - and totally free. They even provided lunch.
Check out their website for upcoming seminars or anything else you might find interesting: www.okmarriage.org
Good luck :]
