I am a 26 year old first time mom and would like to meet moms around my age to get to know and be friends with. I don't get out much to meet other people and when I do I feel no one is interested! I don't want to sound corny, but I really want to meet some new people and most important socialize my son with other kids. My son is a 16 mo. boy FULL of energy and really sweet. I do have a busy schedule, but am willing to get to know some new faces! Thanks for listening!
where are you located? We have a mommy and me playgroup in Sumner every Friday. I don't go anymore, my kids are all grown or in school, but I can get you info.
I would love to!! I am a SAHM of three boys almost four two and almost eight months. There also is this sight called meetup.com. they have all sorts of groups you can be memebers of. They I know have one for busy working moms!! i love it. you can pick which playdates you want to go to and they also have like mom night outs and st like that it is worth a shot if you are interested!!
Meetup.com is a great resource! There are lots of groups on there that can help you find a group that's just right for you. Many groups will say they are in a specific city and they may be centralized there, but they regularly will have get togethers in other surrounding cities too. Good luck!

I would love to meet with you. I am also 26 and work full time. My son is 20 months old. I know what you mean about not having time to get out much to meet people. I feel like I don't have enough time for my husband and son as it is. I was telling my husband the other night that I would like to meet someone that has a child close in age to my son Jack who understands what it's like to have a child that I can relate to. Just let me know if you want to try to start a little get together with a group of mama's.
Try going to MOPS.org and find a MOPS group near you! MOPS is a group for moms (stay at home, working, and everything in between!) with kids aged 0-6...many of us in the same boat as you! Good luck!

I am in the same boat as you I have two boys 3 and 8 months, work fulltime, go to school fulltime and am a mommy fulltime. I would love to meet new moms and have playdates for my kids. Most of my friends do not have kids so I feel sometimes they do not understand why I can not go and do a lot of the things they are out doing. Sounds like your little one is somewhat like my daughter. She just had her first birthday and just doesn't slow down for a second. I'm also working full-time while my husband goes to school. I used to go to school and work both full time while pregnant with our daughter and graduated 2 months after she was born.. We're also still fairly new to the area, moved to Auburn from Kansas after my husband left the Army..
I don't know where you are from, but if you ever feel like having a cup of coffee at the weekend, we're not going anywhere :-)
