This is how I found a babysitter around 37 st and wood. I went to the Greene school and talked to some mexican ladies that were standing outside the school and asked them if they knew a sitter, and one of them told me she would take the job. I went to her house and talked more to her.
She watched my son before and afterschool (she would take and pick him up from school too) and she charged me $50 a week.
So, you could try that if you want. You can also ask the person for references.
