When the weather was warm, I had no difficulty finding activities to do with my two year old. Now that the weather is getting colder, we can't go outside as often as we used to. I would appreciate any suggestions.

Check out Playway-- it's in RO and set up so that the Mom's can socialize while the children play.
The city of Royal Oak has a bunch of drop in playtimes at the community center (at Lincoln & Campbell) - you can buy a punch card for those. Also, the city of Ferndale has a really nice, large, clean children's room at their community center (Livernois, just south of Nine Mile), and it is $2 per visit. On Thursdays from 9-noon, at Ferndale's center, they open up the gym and get out all of the balls, riding toys, big blocks, etc for toddler playtime. It is a nice forum to let your toddler run around indoors. That is also $2 per visit. We do Gymboree in Birmingham sometimes, but that can get kind of pricey. Check out the city websites for more info on their drop in playtimes. Good luck!
Go to gocitykids.com and look up things in your area. Through that website I found a place out by me called Jungle Java that is an indoor play place for kids which is really cute. Now when I have run out of ideas I just go on there and look up whats going on. Also kids love ball pits. You can use a childrens small inflateable swimming pool and fill it with those plastic balls and let your kids have at it. The large Zip loc bags hold all those plasic balls and the deflated pool nicely.
