you might look for a "toys for tots" location near you - i know there are several places in dayton that do it. try this website, too. http://www.daytonmarines.com/toysfortots/
I would like to know of anywhere that I maybe could go to get a little help with christmas this year. Asking for help has never really been my strong suit, but I have three children, no job, we're on a fixed income that they receive from their father dying & I just really don't know how I am going to give them anything this christmas.

Try Catholic Social Services.
Do you belong to a church? They may be able to help you. Sorry I don't have more advice than that. Good luck.

I know Dayton Right to Life ###-###-####)has been linking families with "donor families" this year; I'm not sure about the details, but you could call and check. Also, you might check with local churches; many have parish programs to help with Christmas gifts.
