We are in the market for a mini-van. We've found a Chrysler Town and Country in our price range that we really like. If you've owned one of these could you please share your opinions on this mini-van? Thanks!!!

i just started driving a 2008 Town and Country. I love the inside. super convenient, great visibility, comfy enough seats, and more gadgets than i know what to do with. best part is i can pop my double stroller in and out without collapsing it.

it's just the outside that i don't like. mini-vans in general are just not attractive.

i suppose i'll get over that eventually!! ;-)

I had a Town & Country and I loved it!! So did my kids. I now have a Nissan Quest and I like it much better.

Good luck - I know what a pain car shopping can be! :o)

I have a 1997 loaded Chrysler Town and Country with about 59,000 miles. It is the 3rd Chrysler van we had. I liked it because I could walk between the seats in the front to assist daughter in the back when she was a toddler. My daughter is now 13 and I do not drive the van hardly at all anymore. It is in perfect condition, the only things we have done for it were basic routine maintainence. We decided to keep if after we got our other cars simply because it has so many functions for us. You can take the seats out (we have saved on some delivery fees this way), we have pets and they love to go for a ride and it is their "carriage".

I cannot say anything negative about my 97 town and country. If I were in the market for another van, I would not hesitate to purchase another one.

We have a 2000 Town & Country LImited. We bought it used in 2002. I haven't owned any other minivan so I have nothing to compare it to. Ours is still running well. We haven't had to do any major engine work or anything other than oil changes, transmission fluid changes, that type of work. The air conditioner seems to have a slow leak, but it lasted through the summer. We will have to have it checked before it gets hot and I'm not sure what they will find. I know someone who had a 2000 and when the new Town&Country came out with the seats that fold into the floor they sold their 2000 and bought the new one(2005-2006? maybe). They don't like the new one as much. The seats aren't as comfortable.
I wish our minivan got better gas mileage. Ours gets about 18 MPG. I'm not sure how other minivans compare.
If you have any quesions, just send me a message.

I have a 2006 Town & Country and we really like it. The stow-n-go seating is wonderful. We took a trip to Houston last year and unexpectedly cam home with a solid wood desk.
The desk is about 4 ft x 2.5 ft: we drove home with it in the van along with out 5 and 3 year olds both in car seats. If we hadn't been able to fold one middle and one back seat into the floor we would have had to rent a trailer to bring the desk home.

We have the DVD system, it works well and we've had no issues with it.
AC works well.
Only problem we've had is that the tire pressure light keeps coming on - but I suspect I have a slow leak somewhere accounting for that.
Gas mileage isn't the best, but it's worth the sacrifice for such a great family car.

I have heard great things about the Town and Country. I now have my second minivan and it is a 2006 Kia Sedona and I absolutely love it! Good luck in your search...
